This is a rare distillery only single cask bottling and not available through retail channels. Previous Yoichi 10yr single cask bottlings have been fantastic and this one is no exception.
Personal Tasting Notes:
Nose: Leather, Dark Tannins
Palate: Raisins, Apricot, Smoke. Dangerously sippable at 57%. Water brings out sour notes, slight bubblegum, more char, oak. Give it some time and sweet cherry and sherry emerge.
Finish: Medium Finish with a tingle of umami and salt; slight chilli peppers.
Leaves you wanting for more. Rich and Complex!
