What are your specialities?
We focus on rare or discontinued Japanese Whisky that are almost non-existant in the primary markets and can usually only be found in secondary markets such as Auctions or in the hands of Private Collectors. 

We also curate the list of Japanese Whisky on sale, having personally tried (and loved!) a large number of the whiskies offered (with the exception of those bottles in extremely limited quantity; in this instance we rely on trusted reviews of those fortunate enough to crack open these gems!)

What is The Private Room?

The Private Room contains only the finest Japanese Whiskies that are available. Some of these bottles are extremely rare and valuable. Bottles in the private room are listed by Private Collectors and are generally not held in our Physical Inventory. We will however, physically inspect and photograph all Bottles in the Private Room personally before listing it in order to ensure as accurate a description as possible. All bottles in the Private Room have a reserve price set by the Private Collectors and generally do not qualify for any site discounts that japwhisky may have. 

How do I make payment? 

We accept credit card payment through our service provider Paypal. Alternatively, you can also pay via Bank Transfer. (Transfer details will be given when you checkout your shopping card)

How do I receive my purchased bottles?

For orders in Singapore, Bottles will be hand delivered by Courier.  

Why does my box have minor dents or discoloration on it? 

Due to our stock largely being purchased through auctions or private collectors, we cannot guarantee that every bottle and packaging is in 100% perfect condition as these are classified as "New Old Stock". For especially old bottles and packaging, it is usually unavoidable that there will be minor dents or discoloration to the box or bottle label. Any significant abnormalities to the normal bottling or packaging will be listed in the product descriptions (to the best of our knowledge). Most importantly, we check the integrity of every bottle seal to ensure that the contents are as genuine as we can perceive it to be.  

Do you ship overseas?

Currently we only deliver to addresses in Singapore. If you are overseas and are interested to purchase any of our bottles, kindly contact us at josh@japwhisky.com and we will try to make an exception.
